From a single room with limited services to the best-performing lab in the nation: the Makoanyane Military Hospital Laboratory is just one of the 19 labs APHL helped transform, through support for improved training, standards and outcomes.

In Nigeria’s high-demand setting, the standard HIV testing algorithm was putting women and newborns at risk. APHL helped develop a solution.
